Add an initiative

There is considerable interest and activity on the broad topic of climate change mitigation, which is increasingly referred to as the carbon agenda. Whilst there is much progress being made in some areas, many are finding it difficult to keep up with the sheer volume of activities that are underway.

The aim of this project is to develop a simple web-based database that signposts carbon and energy-related initiatives relevant to the built environment.

Information about current and new initiatives are being collected and will be displayed in a consistent format. The database is being developed in consultation with a number of industry organisations and professional institutions with the following aims: 

• it can be used by the widest possible range of stakeholders to describe and map their initiatives
• it can be used by others to identify groups active in a particular topic
• it is sufficiently detailed to be of value to those interrogating the site, but not over-burdensome for those providing information about the initiative

We are currently collecting data and if you wish to submit a carbon initiative for signposting on this website, then please complete and return the excel sheet below and return to carbonconstruct@ciria.org.
